Veterans have filed more claims than ever under the PACT Act

Since the PACT Act was signed into law Aug. 10 2022, Veterans and survivors have broken previous records when it comes to filed claims and "Intends to file".

More than one million claims for toxic exposure-related benefits have been filed since that date under the PACT Act, leading to $2.2 billion being awarded by the VA.

PACT and non-PACT Act claims together come to a total of 2.29 million claims in this fiscal year*, which is more than 40% more than last years numbers (year-to-date**).

And more than 2.1 million "Intents to file" have been submitted this fiscal year, which is more than 53% more than all of last year.

Both of those numbers are all-time records.

Keep it going, Veterans.
